Objective:

The purpose of this article is to teach and illustrate to Buk clients how to create a company on the platform, enabling them to enter their company name data.

Scope / Limitations:

This article is intended for Buk customers who need to enter their corporate data into the platform. It provides relevant information on how to maximize the platform's features when creating and managing companies. Setting up and configuring companies is essential for establishing a solid foundation in Buk and ensuring the efficient operation of all related processes.

Legal Support and Applications:

Buk adheres to labor regulations established by the competent authorities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and offering a secure and automated approach to people management. However, it is crucial to collaborate with your legal or HR team to ensure that the methodologies implemented are perfectly aligned with the characteristics of your industry, processes, and specific needs.

Process:

To create or edit company data in Buk, you must do so from administration (⚙️) in the "Companies" section. There, you can review all the created corporate entities (company names).

If you wish to create a company you must click on the "Create New Company" option. The view will be divided into 5 sections: General, Banks, Bonus Options, Compensation Funds and Legal Representatives.

In the General section, you can fill in information such as the name, ID, business activity, email, address, and company logo. Remember that all fields marked with an asterisk "*" are mandatory.

In the Banks section, you can complete the information for your company's paying bank, including the account number and optionally naming the file for easier identification. In Buk, you can add multiple paying banks and designate which will be the primary and secondary. To add a new bank, click the plus sign (+).

Lastly, in the Legal Representatives section, you can enter the information of your representatives and define your default representative or secondary representatives. Here you must enter data such as your ID, full name and address.

Once ready, remember to save the changes, and your company will be created or configured in Buk.

Country-specific considerations:

  • Chile:

In the Bonus Options section, you will find general aspects related to bonus payments, including concepts that determine whether your company will pay a bonus and whether a cap will be applied. For more details about these settings, please review our "Bonuses" article in the "You Might Also Be Interested In" section.

Then, in the Compensation Funds section, you can define the compensation funds, whether primary or secondary, in case your company is affiliated with any.

  • Colombia:

In the General section, you can define data such as the company's trade name, the type of withholding tax, and the date of the company incorporation.

Secondly, in the "Banks" section, you can define the entity related to occupational hazards and select the payment operator for your company.

Then, in the Compensation Funds section, you can define the compensation funds, whether primary or secondary, in case your company is affiliated with any.

  • Peru:

In the Banks section, you can define the System, which will not affect the calculations of compensations or accrued vacation; it will reference what is registered in each job. Additionally, the SCTR Health and SCTR Pension percentage fields you enter will be applied by default to all employees to whom these contributions are added and activated. However, you have the option to set a different percentage for each employee from their profile.

Furthermore, you can decide whether to issue the Annual Profit Sharing Payment by checking the corresponding box.

  • Mexico:

In the "Employer Registration" section, you need to establish the Municipality, Employer Registration, Risk Level, Risk Premium, and Sub-delegation. Note that an employer can have as many records as they have branch offices throughout the country. To add registrations, click the "plus" (+) button to include as many records as needed.
